Our fully trained care staff are dedicated to assisting and supporting you through your personal daily living task of personal hygiene. We understand that everyone has their own personal routine in which we are here to support you with, whilst being in the comfort of your own home. Whether that may be extra attention whilst cleaning and drying your feet as you are diabetic, having a full body shower and hair wash or changing your stoma bag, we are here to help you whilst respecting your dignity. All we ask is that you provide your home carer with the necessary equipment that may be required to enable them to carry out certain tasks. At Kind Hands Caring, we offer a domestic home care service to support you in keeping your home clean and tidy. We understand that domestic duties can vary from a weekly dust to a more frequent schedule supporting you with hoovering, laundry, ironing and more. We also know that the pressure of maintaining a tidy and clean home can sometimes be overpowering and demanding, so we are here to help. Together we can create a personal care plan which will be designed to suit you and fit in with your lifestyle. All we ask is that you provide your home carer with the necessary equipment that may be required to enable them to carry out certain tasks. Domestic calls are a great way of providing a little extra support if you have recently been discharged from hospital following illness or injury. Please contact us for further information if needed.
Companionship care varies significantly from person to person, but generally aims to reduce or prevent loneliness for someone who might otherwise become isolated. Loneliness is a huge problem as it can cause depression and exacerbate illnesses and conditions.
At Kind Hands Caring, we understand that sometimes it can be difficult for you to ‘get out’ or plan a social event. Therefore we can provide a companion to keep you socially engaged within your own home or accompany you on visits/trips out with friends or family and even to other social events such as church services.
Following illness or injury, you may need care and support to help you regain your independence in your home. This can vary from supporting you with gentle walks to the kitchen to make a cup of tea or assisting you to get back to being able to carry out your usual morning routine. We support our clients every step of the way through this process and understand that the transition following a stay in hospital to being at home can be a challenging task and can cause of a loss of confidence.
